Cert. (ES) TESOL
The overall aim of this Level 3 course is to equip trainee teachers with the initial knowledge and skills needed to start teaching English to speakers of other languages and to provide a foundation for reflective practice and further professional development. The main differences in learning outcomes between a Level 3 and a Level 4 course is that Level 3 takes a slightly less in-depth look at differentiation, assessment and professionalism.
aims
This programme provides a thorough introduction to the theory and practice of teaching English and may be seen as an initial step on a modular pathway towards a more advanced qualification. Holders of this qualification almost always obtain suitable teaching posts.
