How to Evaluate an Online TESOL Course

Choosing an online TESOL course requires more than comparing prices. Check that any accreditation claim is current and verifiable on the accreditor’s own website. Confirm total hours and level. Ask how tutors are qualified and whether every assignment receives individual feedback from a human tutor.

Prefer providers listed on ACTDEC’s Accredited Members page when you want assurance that organisation and course have been independently audited. Courses from organisations that claim ACTDEC status but do not appear on the current members list should be checked against the No Longer Accredited page.
