Only the organisations below currently hold ACTDEC accreditation. They alone are authorised to use the ACTDEC name, logo and level marks.

Global English TESOL: flagship accredited partner

ACTDEC member since 2004. Formed in 1997, Global English TESOL is an established UK online teacher training organisation with thousands of graduates around the world.

Based in the UK, Global English works with individuals, language schools and online teaching companies through online and blended programmes, plus CPD, personalised 1-1 teaching practice and shorter webinar-style programmes. Courses and observed teaching practice are recognised by the Hong Kong Education Bureau as appropriate TEFL entry programmes for the Native-speaking English Teacher (NET) scheme.

Training is delivered on a custom platform with interactive video and a personal tutor. All Global English courses, including those sold as Christian TEFL and TEFL Global, are covered by this accreditation, except the 10-hour Enter English introductory course. The 70, 120, 150 and 250-hour courses are listed below.

Introduction to Christian ESOL 70-hour course: ACTDEC Level 2. 20 modules, several ‘stop and reflect’ sections, tutor-marked questions and one lesson plan.
120-hour Premier TESOL: ACTDEC Level 3. 28 interactive modules, two lesson plans, one extended essay.
150-hour TESOL Advanced: ACTDEC Level 4. 35 modules, six ‘stop and reflect’ sections, one essay, two lesson plans.
250-hour TESOL Professional: ACTDEC Level 5. 52 modules, nine reflections, two essays, four lesson plans. Includes online teaching, SEND/inclusion, phonetics, linguistics, IELTS and professional ethics.
