Steps towards Accreditation
- Applicant member institution is sent (or views online) the Guide to Accreditation and is invited to apply for accreditation for a specific course or specific courses.
- Applicant member institution applies.
- Applicant member institution submits two copies of submission in confidence to Accreditation Panel.
- Accreditation Panel inspects submission and makes professional reports.
- Panel Chair submits report to Council and institution.
- Outcome either
- report recommends accreditation.
- report shows discrepancies. Accreditation referred subject to resubmission.
- report recommends no accreditation.
- Reports final recommendations approved by ACTDEC Council.
